Hello, I have no idea if it is a Dorico or Mac Os 15.2 Sequoia problem, but sometimes (randomly) when I go to “Open file” (or CMD+O) the window to select file appears and disappears instantly. Closing and reopening Dorico (after a while) resolve the problem. I attached the diagnostic file generated immediately after this happened.
Thanks
Guido

I have seen the same thing, and only from Sequoia 15.2, but related to choosing the folder where to export graphic files in Print Mode.
I seldom (if ever) use the Cmd-O Open/save dialogue so that may have escaped me for now.
Welcome to the forum, @Studio_EMC. The diagnostics show that you did indeed try to invoke File > Open three times, but there’s no indication as to why the file picker didn’t open. I’m not sure how we can investigate this any further at the moment.
I saw this happening earlier today. I was trying to import a Project Template set - the window appeared for a fraction of a second and then disappeared. Repeated attempts to import the set resulted in the same thing happening. After quitting and reopening Dorico the problem disappeared.
I’m also on 15.2.
Maybe this helps: the picker window problem happens, always randomly, when you need to open a file or save it, even when exporting a PDF or another type of file. I’m sorry but I can’t find a relationship with some of my actions.
Thanks
Guido
