Dorico 5.1 -- hiding voices

Hi all,
I have found older strings on this subject, but they do not apply to my current needs.
In Finale I can show or hide any given “Layer”
From what I have learned, in Dorico the parallel term is “Voice.”
All I want to do is hide a “Voice”–not a rest, but everything in that Voice.
Why? I find it easier sometimes to edit or enter one “Voice” at a time, and “Show” everything when I am done.
Thank you in advance.

No, there’s no way to hide Voices that are in use. But - make sure you’ve got View > Note And Rest Colors > Voice Colors turned on, which should help to see what’s going on.

Also, pay attention to the caret in Note Entry, which will tell you which voice you’re in.
