Am I the only one who wants DORICO 5 to be announced to the world in apple style event where Daniel Spreadbury comes on stage and says “Dorico 5 is our most revolutionary product yet….”
And couple of Dorico 5 ads in between too

The very first version of Dorico was launched with a live event at Bush Hall in London (you can still watch it on YouTube if you want), and then a couple of days later at another event at the Synchron Stage in Vienna (no video of the whole event exists, but you can get a flavour of it here). It was fun putting those events together, but a huge amount of work.
These days I’m more than happy to let my colleagues John and Markus introduce the new features in their launch live streams on YouTube! (The last one I did was Dorico 3, where famously we had a set malfunction halfway through.)

Customer demos never go smoothly
Just like recent apple events it doesn’t have to be live 
can be pre recoded …
