I’m working with a symphony, which is available here. The forums won’t allow be to upload this four-movement work becasue it is too large (please change this policy, Steinberg). Anyway, I can see all the parts in my score but I can’t find or edit several of the individual parts including Flute 1 and Percussion. They seem to exist on the score only but can’t be edited, extracted, or printed as individual parts. Obviously, this is problematic for having the work performed. Assistance would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!
I think this may simply be that you don’t have those parts (layouts) created. In setup mode at bottom of right panel, create new instrumental part layouts and choose from the left panel flute 1, percussion 1, and percussion 2, respectively.

Hi @markelliotbergman, adding to the suggestion by @lafin, you can also go in menu Setup>Create default parts layouts and Dorico will add the missing parts layouts.
Note that in many cases, you can get your project under the forum’s 4MB limit by applying the SIlence playback template and then saving.
Doing this in D5 the filesize went from 6.7 Mb to 2.3
