Dorico 5 failed to start up

Dorico 5 failed to start up on my computer and stucks at “wait for audio engine start up”, then a warning windows appears as folloing below.
Btw, it runs on macos sonoma 14.7

Dorico Diagnostics.zip (77.0 KB)

Do you have a large number of VST plug-ins on your system? If so, you may need to wait for them to be scanned, which can take a while the first time. It may also be the case that a VST plug-in has popped up a window that has appeared behind Dorico’s splash screen, so it’s worth checking that there are no dialogs there that are waiting for your input.

Thanks for. answering, I have a brand new installation and have not installed any VST plugins.

When you click Terminate, you should see a file called Dorico Diagnostics.zip on your desktop. Can you attach it here?

Actually, the VSTAudioEngine does not detect any VST3 plug-in during startup. I guess the reason is the same as what i had in another case just recently.
I think the vstscannermaster is crashing for the memory tdack

But it could aslo be quiality difference amongst the VSTInstruments

My head is spinning, I will continue tomorrow morning, promised

Thanks to ulf for the reply. Actually the problem has been solved. The solution is to end the vst process in activity moniter and then restart dorico.

It’s good that you figured that yourself, but I fear that the problem will come back and that with every second Dorico start you do not want to kill the audio engine over and over again. But let me know if the error returns and then we can have a deeper look and fix it properly.
