I’m running Dorico 5 and writing a score for clarinet and piano to go with a silent film lasting about 70 minutes, and I’m 12 minutes into the score and now note input and pretty much anything in the write section is running very slowly - if I enter notes it takes about 5 seconds for each of them to appear on the screen. I’m running on a MacBook Pro i7 Quad core machine with 16GB and OS Monterey and have tried various suggestions I’ve found online ( e.g. hiding the system track), and have also reduced size of the video file, but nothing makes much of a difference. There seems to be a memory still free so that doesn’t seem to be the problem. Any suggestions?
