At first it did. to me. But when using the syzd se plus, the stage template doesn’t load or does only load very few instruments.
I don’t know “syzd se”, but have you enabled the corresponding option in X-Maps ?

By default the feature is turned off for third-party expression maps, but you can turn it on: go into Library > Expression Maps, select the relevant expression map, expand the top section of the dialog, and activate the checkbox to allow space and stage templates to be applied.
