Dorico 6.10 Flat Signs Do Not Appear in Chord Symbols

I just upgraded to Dorico 6.10. I’m creating a lead sheet using the font Finale Jazz Text Lowercase for chord symbols. When I type in a chord with a flat sign (e.g., Eb) the flat sign does not appear. I opened an old lead sheet, and the flat signs appear in that. I’m also trying to use for the first time a template I created. I tried rebooting my computer, but this had no effect. How can I either get my flat signs to render or revert to the previous version of Dorico? I’ve attached the project file in case that would help.

Try changing Library->Font Styles->Chord Symbols Music Text Font to Finale Jazz.

That worked, thanks! I normally use Finale Jazz for the music text font. I must have inadvertantly changed it when I created the template.

I noticed another issue, not sure if it’s related. Sharp alterations are appearing as naturals. Attached are snapshots of the chord popover input and the resulting chord symbol.

Hm, I guess Finale Jazz doesn’t support those small characters used by stacked alterations. Try to increase the scale factor to 76% under Library->Engraving Options->Chord Symbols->Design. You can decrease the Chord Symbols Music Text Font a bit if they get too large but that will affect regular b and # too.

That did the job, thanks so much! I had the size of the subscripts and superscripts enlarged, but not the stacked alterations, since us old guys need large chord symbols.
