Dorico 6.2.0.6088 regular crashing

Hello, I’m experiencing regular crashing in Dorico Version 6.2.0.6088 (Mar 6 2026)

Dorico 6 AudioEngine Version 6.1.0.13

MacPro 5,1 Monterey

It happens every hour or so, often when I’m pasting (option click)

Can anyone assist?

Just to be clear: you can’t induce the crash; it’s just happening regularly?

Yeah thats right, I can’t induce it.

It’s just so random. Thankfully it’s only every couple of hours, so with auto-save it’s not the end of the world, but it it IS annoying :grinning_face:

Thanks for providing your diagnostics. Your crash log shows a hard-to-reproduce crash that has persisted through several versions of the software. We included some changes in Dorico 6.2 to try to fix the crash, but since we’re unable to reproduce it on demand, we weren’t able to say for sure whether we had managed to fix it. Unfortunately, it appears that we have not.

We believe the crash can be avoided if the system track is not shown. If you’re not in the habit of using the system track a lot, try switching it off to see if that improves the stability of the program.

Firstly, I’m glad it’s not my system causing the crash.

Secondly, yes I do use the system track, but not too often. I’ll try switching it off.

I can’t remember having these crashes in earlier versions of Dorico. I think 6.1 was crash free.
