Dorico 6.2.10 freezes when activating audio after Windows 11 laptop wakes from sleep

I am experiencing a new issue in Dorico 6.2.10 on Windows 11 that began after the recent update and has persisted for the past two days.

The issue seems to occur when my laptop wakes from sleep while the Dorico Hub is open. Before this, I had never encountered this behavior.

Under normal circumstances, opening a project automatically activates audio. I only work with one project open at a time. However, for the past two days, when I open a file after waking the laptop, the project opens without audio activated. When I manually click “Activate,” Dorico becomes unresponsive. I then have to force quit the program, and afterward I am unable to reopen the application normally.

At the moment, the problem appears to be specifically related to Dorico resuming after laptop sleep with the Hub open.

System:

Dorico 6.2.10

Windows 11

I can’t reproduce what you are describing.
Will have a look at your diagnostics later.
And can you indicate at what time you did the wake up, please?

It sounds as if the Audio engine stay active and times out while the hub is open.

@Derrek Thanks! I force quit Steinberg MediaBay Server, and the problem went away.
