Hi all,
This has halted my work! I can’t figure it out.
On start-up, I get an error message: See attachment.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yU25nqnjEx8wTZERGjuf9W1GdGiSijbQ/view?usp=sharing
It basically says some components are missing and to reinstall, which I have done several times to no avail. Some files I can open and play; others don’t open. Some instruments play back; others don’t. There is no apparent logic to it as far as I can see. I assume it has to do with the audio engine.
A few weeks ago, I had some extra time on my hands and thought I would install all the add-ons I had never looked at before. I did this, and then things seemed ok for a while.
Here is what I have installed.https://drive.google.com/file/d/12zQrD-35tvEQ9fcCqvGLOuP0lGsRWvVx/view?usp=sharing
Then the error messages began…
I also noticed that a lot of the sound files were installed in my download folder for some reason, and used the library manager (for the first time) to move them into the Dorico folder in my documents folder. Short of a complete re-install, can anyone make a suggestion?
I only use Dorico to write charts for my bands and am not too concerned with sounds and expressive playback, but I thought I should check out what else is possible! Doh!
I have sent multiple error reports to Steinberg, but since they are anonymous, I haven’t received a response, so I am asking here.
Windows 10 (if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!) Might have to change that opinion soon ![]()
Here’s hoping!
Cheers, Tom
