I’ve encountered what appears to be a bug in Dorico Pro 6.2.30.6245 (macOS).
I created custom horizontal lines with custom hook end caps to form aleatoric boxes. They display correctly in Write and Engrave mode (SS1), but as soon as I switch to Print mode (or export to PDF) (SS2), the custom lines shift position. The exported PDF matches the incorrect Print preview. The same changes appear when I return to Engrave mode (SS3).
This was discussed recently, I think. What if you select Graphics instead of Printer in Print mode? Could be that the page size for the printer doesn’t match the one set up in Layout Options. Or maybe try witout the Fit to paper option. I guess you tried the PDF export from Graphics already. Could you share the file? You can PM me if you prefer.
I don’t think I can send you a DM, there is no option for my account. But what I have seen is: I deleted first pages of music to send you just the problematic parts and most of the boxes jumped back in their place and stayed there …
Yes, that might be it. I’d like some of your posts, which might help a little.

Could it be that you have some line, cresc or something that is too long in the first pages that you removed? It’s easy to miss if it’s stopped by another dynamic.
For stuff like boxes and some other lines, it can be a good idea to select and untick Avoid Collision in Engrave mode before fine positioning them. And also positioning as close as possible in Write mode first.
So it wasn’t chosen, I selected all the boxes, chosen and unticked, it became a disaster, ticked and it was ok. But when I go to print the result is always a mess as before.
Yes, of course, they will get misplaced. I meant to try with one box, then reposition it so that it looks good, and see if that helps in print mode. I still think it’s something with the page size.
