Dorico 6.2 Putting In Unwanted Clef At The First Ending For A ONE GUITAR Lead Sheet

Hello Fellow Dorico 6.2 Users,

I installed the latest maintenance update last week a day or two after it came out.

Below are two screen prints (Before/After) of a sample project which utilizes a common song form used in countless jazz standards, the AABA form with a first and second ending. I picked the Dorico option to ONLY show the CLEF in the first bar. When I add the first and second endings which start at bar seven, Dorico puts in a Clef at the beginning of the second ending. I get rid of it by going to Notation Options/Repeats and clicking on Do Not Track. No big deal but I do not understand why the clef is being put in there in the first place as there are no clef changes that I need to be warned about. This is a one instrument project and guitar is a treble clef instrument.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I SELECT the first ending:

I CREATE the FIRST and SECOND ending and the unwanted clef gets put in at bar nine.

Could you attach the sample project here please?

Untitled Project 2-[AutoSave].dorico (1.4 MB)

Here is the sample project.

Thanks, this does look like it might be a bug - we’ll take a look.

Thank you. Please let me know what you find.

We hope to be able to fix this in a forthcoming update.
