The new cautionaries do not appear to space correctly if the bar is empty in all instruments (as might happen for a GP)…

Unfortunately this is an existing limitation of Dorico’s spacing of empty bars when handling things that protrude from the left of the barline. It isn’t specific to the new cautionary feature - something similar can happen with e.g. Russian-style key signature cancellations.
