Because Dorico 5 and Dorico 6 are separate apps with different names Keyboard Maestro users need to do some manual tweaking to keep their macros working:
- change the scope of Dorico set to new app
- sadly for users with many macros- scroll through them all and see if any action refers to “Dorico” (menu selection for example) and switch them to — “Dorico”

DigitalPerformer has a nice approach to this: new version is always named Digital Performer after an update and old version gets ver. number added to app name.
With KM I try to use Front Application within any group of macros dedicated to a specified app. That way you only need to change the owner app name in the group container. (But it looks like Dorico 6 now identifies as plain Dorico).

From KM that was also same for Dorico pro 5. They both appear in KM as “Dorico” but as 2 different apps. Dorico & Dorico.
Front app aporoach seems good, thanks.
On my Mac (running Sequoia) and KM 11.0.3 Dorico 5 and 6 are displayed including the version number
I’m using application groups so I had only to change the target(s) of the group.
