Hi, I have developped a new Dorico 6 template taking advantage of NPP5 and MIRPRO as inserts for spatialization. Everything works perfectly : it plays and audio exports nicely BUT when deleting empty players in set-up mode audio export is no longer working : it hangs at 0%. I did not face this issue with Dorico 5 with the same configuration. I sent a ticket to Steinberg support with a file attached and waiting for a solution.
Am I alone with this problem ?
If you want us to look into it, you’ll need to attach the project here.
Thank you very much Daniel : I open a ticket yesterday with a link to the file (ticket ID ##704731) but did not get a response yet from Steinberg support. It happened to me twice (the template I attached to my ticket), and the new template I had to rebuild from scratch that works until I delete empty players. Thank you for your consideration. Seems to me that VST instances somehow are lost when the player linked to it is deleted but I am not developper, just my feeling. Bu curiously only when exporting audio, OK when playing.
I don’t have access to the support team’s ticketing system (I don’t work in support), so if you’d like me to take a look, you’ll need to make the project available to me, together with the steps required to reproduce the problem, and I’ll happily do so when I get a chance.
I sent you a private message with the links before/after.
Hi Daniel,
the issue does not come from Dorico 6 but likely from Noteperformer 5 :
Dorico 6 + NP 5.0.0 + NPPE => audio export KO after deleting empty players
Dorico 6 + NP 4.5 + NPPE → Audio export OK after deleting empty players
