Dorico 6 crashing while loading plugins

I recently upgraded to Dorico 6. When scanning my plugins, a warning message comes up
"The audio engine is taking longer than expected to respond. "etc. Is there a way to get Dorico to skip problematic plugins like Vienna Ensemble Pro does?
There is no way I’d ever use Guitar Rig 6 (one of the problematic plugins) in Dorico. The weird thing to me is that Cubase 14 has no problem loading these plugins.

Here is some text from with the Dorico Diagnostics Folder:
“2025-05-01 17:41:13.216 [info] Scanning: Guitar Rig 6 (124/409) – waiting: 145s
2025-05-01 17:41:27.113 [info] Terminating engine process
2025-05-01 17:41:27.124 [info] Terminating engine process – Wait for audio engine initialization: 159s
2025-05-01 17:41:27.242 [error] Audio engine process died”

The text on your splash screen shows that you have more than 400 plug-ins, so it will indeed take a while to scan them all when you run Dorico for the first time. From the looks of the logs you’ve attached, dozens of your plug-ins are failing the scan. My guess is that if you keep trying, eventually it’ll make it through all 400+ plug-ins, at which point it won’t need to scan them again, and you’ll get up and running.

Good to know. I will give it more time to continue to try to get through the scanning process. Thanks!
