I have a question… while writing scores with a midi keyboard, I get very “detailed” results with a lot of 1/32 notes and rests while I play (try to play) 1/8 notes (occasionally 1/16)… can I fix this in Elements with quantization? If so how? I saw a few videos and posts but don’t seem to be able to get this feature to work (or is this only available in the Pro version?) thank you.
Select the notes, then do Edit>Requantize… and set the quantization parameters you want.
thank you for your reply! so there is no way to set up the quantization ahead of time so it does what I want it to do?… I have to record and then “clean the mess”?
Yes, there is a way to set it before inputting

Dorico’s interpretation is an accurate reflection of your playing, based on the quantization options you have set!
(Because my keyboard skills have always been suspect, I rarely use it)
