I am trying to figure out how I can apply the Dorico 6 percussion template, but also use NotePerformer 4 for all of my winds. Whenever I go to
play>playback templates> Iconica Sketch, HSO, HALion Sonic Sel, Marching Percu., Olymups>apply and close
It fixes the marching percussion, but it also makes all of my winds use built in sounds instead of NotePerformer. Is there a work around for this?

Hi! You should watch the Discover Dorico session about creating your own Playback template…
It’s quite easy to do what you need: create a playback template from scratch, add Manual Instruments(Snares, Drums, Bass Drums, Cymbals, four Manual lines) with their corresponding Endpoints then finish the list with Auto NotePerformer.

I’m trying to follow the video you mentioned, @MarcLarcher , but I’m getting completely lost. Call me stupid, but this whole concept seems to be beyond me. I’m sorry. Isn’t there an easier way to do this?
I attempted this but I am not able to input the correct notes with my midi keyboard. I tried to also look into the playing techniques, but that does not work either.
The endpoint configurations reflect the instruments going to HALion, but the actual notes are not inputting correctly.
