Dorico 6: Relocating cycle locaters mid playback doesn't work

Hello everyone!

If the cycle feature is activated and you start playback, playback loops through the selected passage as desired. I have assigned keyboard shortcuts to the actions to create/remove the locators. My question now is, why are new cycle locators ignored during playback? I press play, the loop starts as desired, then I select a passage later in the track, set a new locator with the keyboard (without interrupting the playback) and would now expect the playback to play to the beginning of the new loop, then end up in a loop again at the new position. Unfortunately, the playback does not recognize that the old locators are missing and remains in the original, first cycle, even though there are no more locators at this point.
Am I doing something wrong?

Also, is it possible to select a locator and move it left or right by the selected note value using the keyboard?

You’re not doing anything wrong: Dorico can’t process changes of locator position during playback. I’ll look into making it such that you can’t move them when playback is running.

Thanks for your fast response, Daniel. The feature is something I was looking forward to see for a long time in notation software, so thank you for and your team implementing it
