I would need a clarification regarding the improvements mentioned in the point concerning Time signatures (Dorico 6 version history, page 57).
Up to version 5, elements related to the staff were positioned above, and now they are positioned automatically below; and this is excellent.
The explanation in the version history would seem to presuppose that such positioning is possible when the indicated conditions occur.
However, it seems to me instead that they are situated in this way (below) regardless of the indicated settings.
Is this correct?
I wouldn’t want to take for granted a default behavior that only happens with certain settings.
The case, in versions 5 and 6, is attached.
