My bluetooth speaker works fine on win 10 with all but Dorico. Is there some trick to getting this to work? Thanks.
This has been discussed before - see here, let’s hope it solves your problem: https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=246&t=109251, https://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=246&t=113662
It boils down to creating an “aggregated device” in which only your BlueTooth output device participates, give it an arbitrary name and then select that in Edit > Device Setup.
And actually, we have now a fix for that issue, and it will become available with the next Dorico update.
Looking forward to it, thanks Ulf
Ulf: tried your suggestion and it worked. I own a new Dell laptop and apparently it is a generic problem with them that the power management system shuts off the signal to the usb port resulting in a very annoying 60 cycle hum. Now I can eliminate that using bluetooth.
