Hi, I have finally updated my iPadOS to the 26 version.
Until then I had used Dorico and the split window function in iPadOS 16.
Split window, as I have the source file from which I transcribe in the right half and Dorico in the left. It worked quite well - except that I could never reach the [Close] button in the Document Information Window…
Anyway, in the new OS the split window function has been replaced, so I do have to use the Multi Window function. Dorico will eventually show the three coloured dots [red | yellow | green], but only for a short time, around one second. In this time one has to choose the right button and make further choices. If one isn’t fast enough or has not aimed at the right choice, the little pop up is gone. In my opinion the time the pop up is being active is too short. Something closer to 3 seconds would be more helpful. I accept, the pop up can’t stay open forever, as in other iPad apps, as Dorico needs the space for closing a project, but the user shouldn’t feel hasted (as I do at the moment).
Of course I could be overlooking something obvious.
