Dorico and Windows 8

In the Steinberg website Dorico new release information under system requirements it says (only) Windows 10.
Can that be true? Will it not run under Windows 8.1 (64-bit)?

I seem to remember reading somewhere* that Dorico will run with Windows 7 PROVIDED it is totally up-to-date. If that is so, surely it will run with Windows 8?
