This is my pie-in-the-sky, I would be blown away if it ever happened feature request.
I would love to see Dorico’s galley view, layouts and flows made available in a plugin that does MIDI out.
I currently route MIDI from Dorico to a DAW for preview, using Apple’s IAC MIDI thing. When I get a flow up to snuff, I export the MIDI and load it into the DAW. It all works nicely.
The plugin idea would be more streamlined - MIDI outs direct to the host. Drag and drop MIDI from Dorico to the host. Dorico data saved as part of the DAW session rather than in its own file.
Much less involved, and immediately useful: what about drag and drop of MIDI from Dorico rather than exporting?
