You see, some stuff is at the default location (/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content)
and some is on your external drive. So it is all a bit messed up. I don’t know if you want to live with it as it is right now, well, I’m fine with that. But it calls for trouble in the future when you want to update contents packages or other things. So I recommend to really clean up things and reinstall properly.
Find an actual vstsound from each ‘library’ that is reported missing in your OS file-system browser.
Double click it from inside your OS filesystem-browser.
This should open Steinberg Library Manager. If it doesn’t ‘automatically’ show the proper path at this point, use the Manger’s tools to register it at the current location.
I’ve been struggling with the same problem. My MediaBay appeared completely empty after I moved the files to an external ssd.
Nothing seemed to work (reinstalling, moving with the library manager, clicking on the file).
Then I was reading this discussion and realized that my external ssd had a special character, not a Rabbit but an accent, on its name. It was named “Áudios”. So, I just changed the name to “Audios” and it worked right away.
Good to know. Thx Guilherme!
