Hello, whenever I first open Dorico and the Steinberg Hub opens and when I open a score the system volume goes all the way up. I am using version 2.2.20.1286 of Dorico Pro on a Mac running macOS Mojave 10.14.5, I recently added Note Performer 3. What would cause Dorico to raise the system volume all the way up if I just open the Steinberg Hub and no scores? Thank you in advance for your time and help.
Thanks very much. Switching off ‘Set device attenuation to 0dB’ seemed to work. This just started happening the past week and I have been using Dorico Pro for about a year, I believe. What could have caused this? There has never been system volume change when starting Dorico or opening a score until this past week. Thanks again.
It sounds as if somehow the saved preferences for the CoreAudio2ASIO component must have got reset, though I don’t know what might have caused that.
