Dorico click track

I have lost my click track sound and I have it setup as shown below. Any thoughts

In your picture we can’t see which channel is currently selected.

Here is the channel, but it is greyed out.

I’m sorry, no, my fault, I meant which player is selected?

Not sure how to find which player is selected. When you add players in setup a channel is created. I do not see an option in setup for DoricoBeep. How do I find which player is selected?

Hi @cccm,

here below 4 things to check/consider:

probably you are misunderstanding the functionalities of the icons. The icon that needs to be activated to hear the metronome is on the upper right, in the transport section of the toolbar.

Here a visual guide:

In your first screenshot (as in mine) you have the tempo track selected (it is blue):

This is ok, if you want to see (as in this case) the Track Inspector’s settings for the tempo track. And the routing to Dorico Beep is correct.

If my suggestion above (with the correct icon) doesn’t help, see also in menu Library > Playback Options > Click if the click and velocities are set correctly (not to low). Here the default settings:

Also you seem to have all other track muted…Probably is your Output channel also muted? (this is the global output that comprehends also the metronome):

Did any of this helped?

That was an easy fix, just turn on the metronome. I never looked up there for a metronome icon. Thanks so much.
