Hi there - I’m trying to ascertain why Dorico 6 is crashing so often for me when I switch between open files. I’m pretty certain it is due to audio playback/audio drivers/playback instruments, because the problem doesn’t occur when I turn the power button for playback off. Any tips for troubleshooting? (For reference, this happens on both of my Silicon Macs, and I use NotePerformer for playback, and have Apogee Elements as my audio interfaces.) Thanks in advance.

You should be alright if you wait for the playback light to come on before switching back.
Dorico has to reload all the VST instruments for each document, so each you keep switching back and forth while it’s still loading: that’s probably the cause of the trouble.
But not enabling playback is the better solution in most cases.
