We need @Ulf to weigh in on a couple of these crash logs, but it definitely looks as if the SWAM Violin 3 plug-in is causing the crash in at least a couple of cases. I suggest you send the VSTAudioEngine5.ips* files to the good people at Audio Modeling and ask them to investigate. They know how to get in touch with us if they need any assistance from us.
Well, yes, there are 4 crash files (.ips) of the audio engine, and two of those crash files directly point at SWAM, so those are definitely a case for the SWAM developers.
On the other hand, there are also 2 crash files where it is not so 100% clear who’s fault is that. Looking through the crash files it almost seems to me that they are Metall framework related, so in that case they should be sent off to Apple
I have been using the Swam 3 Violin extensively the last couple days in Dorico 5 on an intel 2019 Mac Pro, without any issues so far. But I’ll report here if something happens.
