Dorico Crashing and MIDI Problems

Hello,

I’ve been having a few problems in Dorico recently.

A lot of the time, Dorico doesn’t close properly. Sometimes, it closes fine, but most of the time it still shows up in Task Manager as a background process, along with the VSTAudioEngine. Because of that, when I try to open Dorico again, it doesn’t launch. The only way I can get it to work is by force-quitting Dorico and the VSTAudioEngine through Task Manager.

It’s been crashing more often, mostly when I have multiple projects open at once.

My MIDI keyboard doesn’t show up under the MIDI Input Devices, and the little green dot in the bottom right doesn’t show up when I try to play it.

Thanks in advance!

The file seems to be too large to upload, not quite sure what to do.

Well, I’ve uploaded the diagnostics to Dropbox since I couldn’t upload them here:

In Task Manager look for “Protected Object Server”. On quitting Dorico that remains for a few seconds. Once it clears, for me, Dorico exits and behaves normally.

I had a look, but I don’t see “Protected Object Server” in Task Manager, so I’m guessing that’s not what’s going on in my case.
