Hi @portal001 , welcome to the forum.
What is your exact problem, what does happen when you start Dorico? Is it complaining about a missing license?
I also would like to get some more data. Please do copy and paste
%appData%\Steinberg
into the address bar of a file explorer and hit return/enter.
Zip everything up that you can find there. Make it smaller chunks so that it does not exceed 4 MB (the max size for attachments here).
Additionally, have a look in your Documents folder for the subfolder Steinberg/CrashDumps.
Are there plenty of items or not a single one. If there are, please try to zip the most recent once and also post here.
Thanks
I tried to put as much info as possible.

Yes: zip = compress
Hi @portal001 , I’ve moved your postings out of the other thread into this new thread to keep things tidy. The other thread was about Dorico not quitting, but yours is about not starting up at all.
And thanks for all the data. The diagnostic report was the most relevant, because it contains the log files of Dorico and the audio engine. Looking at that, I get the impression that one or several plug-ins are causing the trouble.
Therefore, please go to C:\Program Files\Common Files and temporarily rename the subfolder VST2 to _VST2 and VST3 to _VST3. By that Dorico won’t “see” any plug-ins during start up. Let’s see how Dorico behaves then…
Cheers,
Ulf
No go same conclusion. I took a screen shot of Steinberg folder and what’s inside maybe there something here?
My thoughts are a complete reinstall. Which I did, but I noticed the download manager only reinstall on top. Also, I had purchased Cubase 13 as well as Dorico 4 & 5. I haven’t learned any of the programs due to using Finale right now on work projects. So I have no worries with a clean install if you so add vise.

Yes but I received your text by phone the Visit Message button take me to “This Site can’t be reached” So Yes What would you have me do? Also, I download Dorico 6 but that does not show up on desk top at all.
Just let me know what you need me to do and when you would like to do the Dorico Fix.
Thanks Alexander J
I’ve sent you a private message @portal001 , please check.
I free today if you have time. Thanks again for helping me. I’m looking forward to using Dorico with my new back lit Dorico keyboard. I’m sending this information through my cell phone but if we’re going to do FaceTime I’ll have to change to my iPad let me know what you need me to do.
Hi Alexander,
