Dorico Elements 4 crash at audio engine initialization

Hi, for a few months now, I’ve been unable to open Dorico Elements 4. When I launch the program, the initialization window opens until the message “wait for audio engine initialization” appears. After that, nothing happens anymore. Two different messages appears: the first is “RSS feed request redirecting to: Dorico”, instead sometimes the message is “Client Dorico with senderID ipc://Dorico4D54B7186C28944A6B1DE430C43AA6060 received new background online check state for request ID”.
The program stops responding until I close it. I’ve already tried reinstalling all the programs, and nothing has changed; the program always crashes at the same point. I use Windows 11 Home, 24H2 version, updated.
Thanks a lot

Hi @stefano_gherardi , welcome to the forum.

Are you on Mac or Win?
If on Win, have a look in your Documents folder, there is a subfolder Steinberg/CrashDumps, or at least it should be there. That CrashDumps folder please zip up and post here or send to u dot stoermer at steinberg dot de.
On Mac please open the Console.app and in that window on the left choose CrashLogs (if I remember correctly). On the right side then some *.ips or *.diag files should be shown. Right click on one of them and from the pop-up choose open location (or similar), a Finder window at that location shall get opened. Then zip up everything Dorico or VSTAudioEngine related from that folder and send me please.
Thanks

Thanks for your answer. I work on Win. I’m uploading the folder requested.

Kind regards

Quick follow up on this: The ASIO4All driver was the problem here. Even an update to the latest version 2.16 did not bring a big change. The crashes stopped but no audio came through. We resolved by now using the new Steinberg Built-in ASIO driver.
