Dorico extremely slow when assigning MIDI channels to instruments

Hi,

I’m assigning the instruments of a score to the individual channels of a VEPRO instance.

Dorico slows next to a stop when doing it. I select the channel, and then have to wait even more than a minute before it is free to do anything else.

The name of the VST Instrument / Endpoint Setup is relatively short (“VSL Vni I Dim 16ch”).

I’ve attached a spindump of the event.
