Dorico for iPad 2.2 now available from the App Store

We have today released a new version of Dorico for iPad, version 2.2, which introduces the capability to open and save projects from cloud storage locations on your device, for example from iCloud Drive and from Dropbox. This makes it much easier to work on projects on multiple devices – for example, to start a project on your iPad and then continue working on it on your desktop computer. You no longer need to use the Share button to share the updated file back to the cloud location.

This update also includes thumbnails for Dorico projects in the Files app, and (in iPadOS 15) supports Quick Look for a more detailed preview: long press on a Dorico project and choose Quick Look from the popover menu that appears.

A number of other fixes and improvements are also included in this release. Full details can be found on the Dorico blog here:

Dorico for iPad will be updated automatically on your device if you have automatic updates enabled; if not, simply run the App Store app on your device, tap your avatar in the top right-hand corner, then tap Purchases , find Dorico in the list of purchased apps, and tap Update .
