Dorico for iPad crashes always after updating to 6.1 — 12.9 IPad Pro - please help

Hi, I updated to Dorico 6.1 with IOS 26.01 on IPad Pro 12.9 3. Generation. I cannot. Start Dorico anymore. I’m desperat because I cannot continue my work. Please help…

There are a number of topics that most likely relate to your issue. Turning off accessibility options on the iPad seem necessary with the latest Dorico update.

I also just updated to 6.1 on my iPad Pro 12.9in 5th Gen with OS 18.6.2.

It starts fine. However when I click on the « Open Project » or « Create New » or « Learn » or « What’s New » or « Import » it closes.

I went into the iPad Settings and turned off any Accesibility related to the App, such as Siri Dorico still crashes.

Thank you for any assistance

Ok I found another post that suggests : Settings/Accessibility/SpokenContent/SpeakScreen
And another about Full Access for Keyboard.

The Full Keyboard was already off. The SpeakScreen settings were ON so I turned them OFF and Dorico now works. Thank you

I couldn’t solve the problem. Accessibility is in German Bedienungshilfen?

General, reset settings only

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused by these crashes. We have identified the problem and will have a new update ready within a day or two, pending Apple’s App Store approval. In the meantime, disabling accessibility features like adaptive touch, screen reading, zoom, etc., should allow you to run the app without crashes.

I’m not using an iPad, but Windows 11 and getting fairly frequent crashes on playback. My project takes about 37 GB of RAM but I have 128 GB RAM installed.

Has this been happening to anyone else?

I tried uploading the diagnostic zip file but it’s too big.

You should join or start another thread if your machine is not an iPad.
