Hi, Its been a while launching Dorico but it freezes a lot, seems like some kinda audio engine issue but cannot find any workaround.

I can’t even save the project! Also I am using noteperformer as a default playback engine
I wonder if the autosave is working, if so, it might help until the Steinberg team can give you a fix from your Diagnostics.
Is it the Noteperformer demo, or have you bought it?
The NP demo only lasts for an hour, and after that it can cause problems with audio engine.
I bought it! hmm not sure whats the issue here.
Hopefully someone from Steinberg will resolve my issue…
Hi @lightworkin , contained in your diagnostics are 3 crash dumps of the audio engine, and the call stack looks always the same. In the end it is always NotePerformer that brings us down.
The call stack pattern looks similar to another case I just had few days ago. Problem was a broken signature of a bundle. Well, in the other case it was the audio engine itself, but with you it is NotePerformer. So please go and reinstall NotePerformer and hopefully that will resolve you case.
Leaves the question, how could you or something else tamper with NotePerformer and destroy the signature…???
