I have to say I love the notes/chords generating function of dorico. It has been making my life very easy; however, recently, dorico crashes/freezes more and more often when I apply this function. Is it because of the new version, and this is a bug that showed up? Please Devs fix this. 
You’ll need to create a diagnostic report (from the Help menu) after this happens, and upload it here, so that the team can find out what’s happening on your machine.
Nothing happens when I click on “Create Diagnostic Report” after it froze.
I tried restart my laptop, it does not help. I am using M1 Pro Macbook with Tahoe 26.3.1
You should create the Diagnostics after you restart Dorico.
The diagnostic report file should appear on your desktop.
Also it would be useful to have an example Dorico project that exhibits the problem, with instructions as to which bars/instruments need to be selected in order to trigger it.
