Dorico gives two bars the same bar number

Hey everyone. I have encountered this funny thing in dorico and I don’t know how to fix it. I have these long bars in my score with additive time signatures and I decided to make the divisions more clear by using dotted barlines. for some reason dorico counts the last sub-bar of a bar and the beginning of the next bar(like in the screenshot) as one bar and gives them the same bar number which is problematic. Does anybody know how to fix this?

The duplicate bar number is a pickup bar.

is it possible to turn it into a regular bar ?

Sorry, but I’m not the person to ask. You are messing around with variations on a 10/8 bar. It all looks a bit pretentious and unnecessary to me.

sure thanks for your help.

The first duplicate bar number is an incomplete bar. This happens because the new meter comes before the bar has enough beats in it.

Simply turn on insert mode (I), double click a time signature to edit it, and hit Return. This fills out the last bar with the right number of beats automatically. Do this for each meter preceding a duplicate bar number. Remember to turn off insert mode when you’re done.
