The quarter note on the top right has a blue background (I tried switching back and forth a few times), I re-chose 44.1 for my sample rate, and Dorico is still ignoring metronome markings. I don’t know if this is related, but the rich orchestral sounds I had seem suddenly dry and not as authentic. I tried rebooting, too. This happened once before, and I don’t know what I did, but things went back to normal, but now it happened again. Your help is appreciated.

Yes. The tempo is in the score. The number in the box next to the blue-backgrounded note shows the desired tempo, but it’s playing faster. The score was playing correctly and I didn’t do anything but after a break of several hours I went back and tempi were then ignored.
I should add that in between the time when tempi were good and then bad, I was working in Logic Pro and iMovie.
Thanks for reading, but the problem is fixed. In device set up I changed the ASIO Driver and the Sample rate, closed it, then went back and changed bothe the ASIO Driver and the sample rate to what it was before, and now it sounds great and the tempos are correct.
