Dorico live piano entry issues

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble with Dorico 4 piano input on Mac. I’m playing in live, and using sustain pedal. I’ve selected both piano staves, but for some reason a lot of the lowest (bass) notes are being put in the right hand treble clef stave, even though higher notes are being put in the left hand stave!

Is there a bug, or am I doing something wrong…?

You don’t need to select both staves directly: just selecting a note or rest in the right-hand staff before you start recording is sufficient.

If I remember rightly, Dorico 4 already has the dynamic split point (also found in Dorico 5 and 6) that interprets your playing to decide which notes go to which staff. You can use Alt+N and Alt+M to move notes between staves after recording.
