If Windows is put to sleep while Dorico is running and then being “woken up” and I attempt to input chords with my MIDI keyboard – either multiple notes at the same time or actual Chord Symbols – Dorico will act as if I pressed the keys on my MIDI keyboard sequentially rather than simultaneously – e.g. resulting in a C major chord being input as a chord sequence of C bass, E bass and G bass (not necessarily in that order).
In order to revert to the intended behavior, I have only managed to do so by restarting the app.
This isn’t something I’ve heard reported before, but with the vagaries of MIDI devices, it’s not beyond the realms of possibility. Do you have the WinRT MIDI option enabled or disabled? It might be worth trying with the setting reversed.

I just checked, and the WinRT option is enabled. I’ll untick it and see what happens!
Weirdly, I tried to recreate this both with and without WinRT enabled and I did not succeed. I actually do remember that I have had this weird unintentional only sequential MIDI mode before, so perhaps the sleep is just a red herring. I’ll keep my eyes open and get back to you with a diagnostics report if I encounter it again!
