Perhaps some other Windows user can chime in about whether “Program Files” is a location for user documents, and what the default filepath for Dorico’s backups is.
I’m hoping. If not, tomorrow before I go into work I’ll try and see if the tech support people can help me.
Definitely not. You would want to save your user documents in your documents folder. Usually C:\users \ user name \ Documents Usually you have to have administrative permissions to save a file in the Program files folder.
According to the manual it’s not
Dorico was originally doing that, but for some reason the folder for the backup files is empty. There’s nothing in the folder. Also, I gotta go to work now. I’ll chime back in when I have time throughout my day (I won’t be at my computer again until very late in the evening).
