I’m trialling Dorico 4 - for some reason Dorico is not opening/accessing external web-based resources, Help for instance, anything under the “support” or “community” menus.
I have Edge, Firefox and Chrome installed, so it’s not as if there’s a paucity of choice here.
When selecting any of these choices, the cursor flashes for a moment, then nothing.
Any ideas what’s going on here?
Are you on the latest update? Windows?
Dorico will try to trigger your default browser with a URL when you choose these menu items. Which browser is designated as the default on your system?
Google Chrome.
For whatever reason, unknown to me, it’s now working. I had to close down all my browser instances entirely and this seems to have cleared whatever glitch was preventing it from opening a new URL
