For this, the Saxophones and Bass Clarinet should be displaying the transpositions, but they are not. These are transposing instruments, and per engraving rules, must display their transposition.
Is there a way to have Dorico show the transposition for these instruments? It does it for Trumpet, Horn, and Clarinet, but I think it’s only because those can be in multiple different keys where Saxophones and Bass Clarinet are consistent.
This piece looks like it’s in concert Bb, and all of the instruments are showing the correct transposition: C for the clarinets, bass clarinet, tenor sax, and trumpets; G for the alto and baritone saxes; and F for the horn.

It’s that it should say “Tenor Saxophone in Bb” instead of just “Tenor Saxophone.” I found a way to fix it manually, but would be nice if there was a way to make it default for all instruments.
Ah, I misunderstood. Yes, you’re correct that by default Dorico doesn’t show transpositions in staff labels for instruments that only come in one transposition, like tenor sax, and I think that’s fairly standard in published scores.
If you want the tenor sax label to display “in Bb”, then you can go to Library > Instruments and find the tenor sax. Click on the Edit Instrument Names button, and set Show Transposition to Always.
Alternatively, you can set it to Follow Layout Options, and then the display will be controlled by these settings in Layout Options > Staves and Systems > Staff Labels:
Once you’ve changed the setting in Edit Instrument Names, you can save this as a default for that instrument by clicking the Save as Default star in the lower left of the Edit Instruments dialog.
