I have just gotten a new laptop and I want to install Dorico on it. I bought Dorico Elements last year and I installed it on my old laptop. Now when I download the elicenser the Register elicenser is grayed out and so I can’t register the elicenser online. I was reading that if I want to have the software on another computer then I would have to buy the software all over again for the new laptop. Is that really true? Is there any other way? Help!
Log into https://www.steinberg.net/en/mysteinberg/my_products.html and use the big red Reactivate License button. That should give you a new activation code that can be used on your new computer.
