I was wondering if anyone here has had any joy getting dorico to run on linux with wine? I can install the Steinberg downloader, but can’t then run it, and therefore can’t install dorico at all.
I don’t suppose there are any plans for a native linux version at all?
I’m afraid there are no plans for a Linux version. You can download the Windows version directly from here to avoid using SDA, but please be aware that Dorico is not in any way supported on Linux, and you will probably have no joy in running it. I also don’t know whether the eLicenser Control Center application can run under Wine, and without being able to activate your trial copy, Dorico won’t even run past the initial licensing dialog.
