I get this eLicenser Control Error every few days. Whenever the error window is open, I can’t save my project and have to force quit it. I’m using the short usb eLicenser and have updated to the latest installer but still can’t stop these messages. Someone suggested to replug the usb to another port in order to restart Dorico but that didn’t work for me. Instead, I have to restart my mac every time and that’s really annoying. How should I solve this?
Welcome to the forum, @tratra. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having eLicenser problems. Unfortunately it’s not unheard-of! I will send you a time-limited license that you can install on your Soft-eLicenser and run without your USB-eLicenser connected for a while to see whether that proves more reliable.
