Dorico pro 5.1.60 and NotePerformer 4.5.1 VST3

I removed VST plugins and left only VST3.

Dorico sees all other VST3 plugins but not the NotePerformer.
In Playback mode I saw “!! NotePerformer !!” which probably means that it is missing.
Cleared Audio Engine Cache and also Reset Audio Engine Data between deleting/adding plugins. Of course quit and restart Dorico too.
Still no NotePerformer.
Copied NotePerformer.vst back to VST folder: playback works again.

I have everything working but still it bothers me: why does Dorico see all other VST3 plugins and not NP?

NotePerformer comes in 2 “flavours”, as VST2 and VST3, but the VST3 version is only a wrapper that will call the VST2 version. So you actually need to have both installed.
