Dorico Pro 5 opening - crashes always

Hi,
I’ve tried to open Dorico 5 Pro for the first time but it is impossible:

“The Audio unit died,” said the last message on the loading console.

I’ve created a report following other posts’ technical recommendations by Steinberg Staff.

I’m disappointed that I’ve tried to open Dorico and I couldn’t see the program at all. Also with Cubase (I’ve created a ticket with the report). Surprised by all this, something is bad in all of this.
OSX 12.7.6 - iMac Pro 3,2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W, 64GB Ram, 1TB SSD.

Meanwhile, I’ll continue working on other software since I’m in the middle of two big projects.

Welcome to the forum @alvarod . Help is near.
The audio engine crashes on some old HALion Sonic 2.0 and Groove Agent 4.2 that you still have installed from I don’t know when.
Simply go to /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Components and delete those 2 item from that location. After that most likely Dorico will start up without a glitch.

Thank you very much for your tip - it happened as you described. I had an old HALion Sonic component from Cubase 8.5, that conflicted with Dorico and Cubase 13 so, now, they both open Thank you very much again!
